Johlerpow and Zale et al.

Pat and her husband Dave are neighbors of ours and we discovered that her father George W. Koster was a navigator in the Combat Mapping Squadron for the Air Force.

Here are actual postcards that she found of Corregidor in her father’s collection.

In Pat’s own words:

” I found these when I was looking through our pictures the other night.  My dad,  (George W. Koster) was a navigator in the Air Force

in the Combat Mapping Squadron-China-Burma-India (CBI)….but then his unit was turned into an air rescue unit for the South Pacific,

Philippines, Palawan, etc. ”

I believe my father came out of regular service as either a 1st or 2nd Lieut. but then ended up a Major after his Reserve time.

Anyway, these are the pictures (Postcards) that I thought you might also like”.
